  • 12-count package sweet Hawaiian rolls (sliced horizontally)
  • 6 tbsps (85 g) salted sweet cream butter (molten)
  • 1 oz packet dry ranch dressing mix
  • 2 tbsps (10 g) parmesan cheese (finely grated)
  • ⅓ cup (33 g) green onions (thinly sliced)
  • 2 tsps onion powder
  • 2 tsps (4 g) fresh chives (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp freshly cracked black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Melt cream cheese in a large pot over medium heat, stirring continuously until smooth.
  3. Mix ranch dressing mix, onion powder, and black pepper into the melted cream cheese, then remove from heat.
  4. Fold in green onions, shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, and one cup of cheddar cheese until well combined.
  5. Layer bottom halves of Hawaiian rolls in the prepared baking dish.
  6. Spread the chicken and cream cheese mixture evenly across the rolls.
  7. Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese over the mixture.
  8. Place top halves of rolls on the cheese layer.
  9. Brush melted butter over the top of the rolls.
  10. Generously dust parmesan cheese across the buttered surface.
  11. Scatter chopped chives over the parmesan layer.
  12. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  13. Remove foil and continue baking 5-8 minutes until rolls turn golden brown.
