Description

Chilled relief arrives with cold comfort tea bombs, a refreshing twist on classic tea enjoyment. Delicate spheres melt into soothing liquid, offering a cool escape from summer’s heat while inviting you to savor each luxurious sip.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (118 ml) honey
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon (4 g) dried chamomile or dried peppermint tea

Spices and Herbs:

  • 1/2 teaspoon (1 g) ground ginger or 1 teaspoon (2 g) fresh grated ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon (0.5 g) ground turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon (0.5 g) ground cinnamon

Optional Addition:

  • Pinch of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Gently heat honey in a small saucepan over low temperature until it becomes liquid, then immediately remove from heat.
  2. Incorporate lemon juice, ground ginger, turmeric, and cinnamon into the warm honey, whisking until thoroughly integrated.
  3. Sprinkle a delicate layer of dried chamomile or peppermint tea into each cavity of a silicone mold or ice cube tray.
  4. Carefully pour the infused honey mixture over the scattered tea herbs, ensuring even distribution.
  5. Allow the tea bombs to cool naturally at room temperature, or expedite the process by placing them in the refrigerator for approximately 30 minutes.
  6. Once completely solidified, gently release the tea bombs from the mold by applying light pressure.
  7. When ready to enjoy, place a single tea bomb in a mug and slowly pour hot water over it.
  8. Stir the mixture continuously until the tea bomb completely dissolves, creating a soothing, aromatic beverage designed to comfort and warm during cold seasons.

Notes

  • Select high-quality organic honey for the best flavor and potential additional health benefits.
  • Use freshly ground spices to enhance the potency and aromatic profile of the tea bombs.
  • Experiment with different herbal tea blends like lavender or echinacea for varied therapeutic effects and taste experiences.
  • Store tea bombs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks to maintain their structural integrity and freshness.
